Bilal is a Consultant Specialist Knee Surgeon, and Clinical Director of The PRP Clinic. He works in the NHS and privately and has performed thousands of successful operations with excellent feedback from patients.

He has been a keen sportsman all his life and suffered tendon and ligament injuries whilst playing football, rugby and cricket and underwent knee ACL reconstruction surgery as a medical student at Edinburgh University. Knowing what it’s like to be injured and unable to perform to his full potential, and finding it difficult to get the correct treatment was the experience that inspired him to help people with musculoskeletal injuries and other joint problems such as Osteoarthritis.

Bilal also has a keen interest in joint and tissue preservation techniques and biological therapy and is currently collaborating on research in this area at the universities in Manchester.
